Electoral Boundaries

The electoral boundaries of Nova Scotia are reviewed by an independent Electoral Boundaries Commission every ten years.

A report released in April 2019 was accepted and passed in the legislature by the House of Assembly in the fall of 2019. This results in the communities of Bayside, Blind Bay, East Dover, and West Dover being moved from Chester-St. Margaret’s to Timberlea-Prospect riding.

This change will affect about 740 registered electors.
